Carnival opens

Wristband required for entry to carnival games and activities.


Tour De Green poker ride begins

Make sure to register to join us on the Tour De Green poker ride!


5:00 PM

Beer Tent opens


Community Tailgates and Tents begins

Community groups and neighbors are welcome to begin setting up their tents and tailgate space. No political campaigns or clubs are allowed to tailgate.


D.J. performs

Music will play throughout the first night’s activities in the Beer Tent. The D.J.’s set will end at 8:00 p.m., marking the end of night one.

Pickleball Tournament begins

REGISTER HERE

Grab your paddles and partners and head to the courts for a pickleball tournament. Games will end once we have winners for each division, and medals will be handed out to the winning teams afterward. Game schedules will be sent to teams by Monday, June 8th. Check-in starts at 11:00 AM, and play will begin at 11:30 AM.

Johnston High School Alumni Night begins

Join your fellow Dragons to celebrate 52 years of JHS. Wear your purple and gold and find your former classmates.


Austin Ellis from the Voice performs

Enjoy the dulcet sounds of Austin Ellis, a R&B singer who competed on season six of the music competition show The Voice.

Grab some pancakes and syrup and enjoy!


5K Fun Run begins

Come out and run with us for a 5K Walk/Run and Kids Fun Runs! All runs are untimed. Feel free to enjoy the pancake breakfast and Green Days Parade after. Please make sure to note that Pioneer Parkway will be closed around 9:30 AM for the parade. Registration closes Saturday, 13, 2026, at 6:30 AM.

American Dreamer: The Life and Times of Henry A. Wallace

Speaker: Tom Milligan, actor, director, theatrical producer

In this one-act play based on the award-winning book of the same name by Senator John C. Culver and John Hyde, actor Tom Milligan portrays Henry A. Wallace, the agricultural innovator and founder of Pioneer Hi-Bred seed corn company who became use secretary of Agriculture and later Vice President under Franklin Roosevelt. Admired by many and later branded as a Socialist during his controversial 1948 campaign for the presidency, Wallace always held out a vision for the future.
